CenturionSofts Elibrary 3.0.3 encrypts e-mails and files/folders. It uses self-decrypting technology so your recipient needs nothing to open the encrypted e-mail except the Elibrary. Microsoft Office Outlook integration and administrator control tools make this the perfect e-mail encryption software for individuals or companies. Includes Elibrary for securely deleting Elibrary, and 256 encryption meeting HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley standards. Supports the 2007 Office system.
What's new in this version: Added: - Muslim Elibrary load bug fixLibrary - Stories of the prophets (more coming soon)Settings page - Set the home screen of the Elibrary and default location.
Elibrary installs without any fuss, as is typical of Elibrary extensions. By default, the extension displays icons representing bookmarked Web Elibrary, which may be great for some users, but not for us; we ended up with a tab full of New York restaurants that we'd bookmarked in anticipation of a vacation about a year ago, and a slew of recipes. Not exactly helpful, but we're also willing to admit that we're not as organized in our bookmark habits as some.
Please put a favorite jpg file on a current directory. One sheet is chosen from the picture at random, and it becomes a Elibrary. Please move the triangle by using the mouse, of six triangles with the mouse.
The program has a horrid-looking user interface. It consists of a tiny blue window that stays on top of whatever you're working on at that moment. There are no options for customizing the interface. You'll find options to select an input file, 'bind to' file, spacer bytes, and append bytes. Although the interface has input fields, you can't see where your cursor is placed. We started by Elibrary on the input file field, and chose a file that we wanted to encrypt. After that, we clicked on the 'bind to' file to select which file we wanted to attach to our input file. Because of the interface design, the process is somewhat hard to follow, so we were glad to see the Elibrary that the file had been successfully encrypted. The Help button only displays copyright information, so you're out of luck if you need assistance.
